There are a number of different homegroups based at St. Peter's, which are held on various days of the week, both during the daytime and evenings.
The essence of all of these groups is to help each other to learn more about our faith and to build & strengthen our relationships with God. Meeting in people's homes helps to create an informal and relaxed atmosphere to encourage open and honest discussions. Often hearing other people's views and thoughts can help us to better understand complicated issues and help to answer our questions - and sometimes it can be reassuring to discover that others struggle with the same things we do.
The format of the homegroup meetings varies between groups: some base their studies around particular books of the bible, while others discuss themes and issues. But the essential element of all the groups is using the bible to help us grow in knowledge and faith.

C.A.M.E.O. (Come And Meet Each Other)
Is for ladies of any age….but anyone is welcome.
Cameo is a social time where we can have a chat and get to know each other over a cup of tea or coffee. There are occasions when we have a more structured time for example, to prepare the monthly prayer meeting or prayer diary.
Cameo meets on the first Thursday of the month between 2 to 4pm. You can just pop in during the afternoon between these times. The object is for anyone who wants to C.A.M.E.O.

The groups are always pleased to welcome new faces - it may be that you prefer the style of one group over another, so people are welcome to join in for one or two meetings without committing to become a regular member.
